Biography
Robert Duffy is a Professor in the Political Science Department. His courses include U.S. Environmental Policy and the Politics of Organized Interests. His research has focused on a variety of environmental and energy issues as well as the role of organized interests in federal elections. His most recent book with the late Gary Bryner is Integrating Climate Energy and Air Pollution Policy published by MIT Press.

POLS 361 U.S. Environmental Policy
Examination of environmental policy making and implementation in the U.S, including the role of public opinion, interest groups and national and state institutions. Course also covers federal environmental policies as well as a variety of normative approaches to environmental issues.

POLS 303 The Politics of Organized Interests
SyllabusThis course examines the efforts of interest groups to influence politics and policy. The course will examine the activities of a range of organized interests, and their efforts to influence public opinion, elections, and policymaking.
