About: Mary is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at CSU. Her areas of focus are Political Theory, Environmental Politics, and International Relations. She is an environmental political theorist, who focuses on environmental justice, climate change, Indigenous social movements, and critical theory. Her research centers around developing a theory of radical ecopessimism. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and French from the University of Colorado in Denver, and her M.A. in Politics and International Affairs from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.
