About: Julia is a first-year Ph.D. student who received her B.A. in Mass Communication with Development Studies from the University of Zambia. She received her M.A. in Media and Communication Science from Germany with a concentration in Public Diplomacy, and an M.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy with a concentration in International Organizations, and International Economics and Development from Seton Hall University, USA. She spent some time working in both the private and public sectors in various industries and prior to coming to CSU, she taught undergraduate students in the School of Communications at Seton Hall and the political science department at Montclair State University. Her research interests include water and fisheries management in the PSIDS and SADC regions, environmental and sustainability communication, environmental law and policy, and the SDGs.
