Jonathan graduated with a Ph.D. from Colorado State University in 2015 with concentrations in Public Administration and Policy, Environmental Politics, and American Politics. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Auburn University teaching classes on Public Personnel Management, Administrative Leadership and Democratic Government, and Organizational Theory. He is also a board member for American Society of Public Administration’s Section on Environment and Natural Resource Administration and is involved with the International City and County Management Association Auburn University Student Chapter. His forthcoming book addresses fracking’s intergovernmental politics and offers recommendations for building more effective relationships between levels of governments. Other work has appeared in State and Local Government Review, Society and Natural Resources, Politics and Policy, and the Review of Policy Research. His work has also been featured by the London School of Economic’s American Politics and Policy Blog. These opportunities would not have been possible without the mentorship, rigor, and professional development opportunities provided by faculty members within CSU’s Department of Political Science.
