About: Hunter received his bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania. He was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. His research interested have focused on the applicability of cosmopolitan philosophy in environmental policy. His undergraduate thesis focused specifically on the way subjective values (patriotic, materialist, egalitarian, etc.) can affect an individual’s concern for the environment. In graduate school, he is interested in studying comparative environmental politics with his area of focus being Latin America.
