Fields of Study: International Relations and Environmental Politics and Policy
About: Holly (she/her/hers) is a first-year Master’s student in the Department of Political Science, where she will pursue subfields in international relations and environmental politics and policies. She graduated from Michigan State University(MSU) with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Management accompanied by two minors in Leadership in Integrated Learning and Environmental Studies and Sustainability. Her previous role was being a Student Sustainability Assistant for MSU’s Residential and Hospitality Services. She was charged with running the residential Eco-Rep Program, helping with the Clean Plates at State food waste audit program, and coordinating the non-perishable food and personal care item donations to local organizations.
Her research interest includes climate change mitigation through programs and policies, environmental justice, alternative energy, and sustainable development. She enjoys spending all her free time outdoors, reading, and playing with her dog Addie.
