Biography
Youngsung Kim has worked as an Assistant Professor of Public Policy and Administration in the Department of Political Science at Colorado State University since 2020. He holds a PhD in Public Administration and Policy from the University at Albany – SUNY. His research focuses on public budgeting and financial management, computational social science, education finance and policy, and local government management. He is particularly interested in understanding the accountable and efficient ways to allocate and manage financial resources for public organizations. His articles have appeared in Public Management Review (2 articles), Public Performance & Management Review, National Tax Journal, Public Budgeting and Finance, Local Government Studies, Policy Studies, and State and Local Government Review.
